The Folklore Advisory and Documentation Office for Thuringia is a service and research institution of the Free State of Thuringia. It focuses on questions of everyday life and festive culture, preserves traditional knowledge, and documents social and cultural transformation processes. With the aim of imparting folkloristic expertise and strengthening voluntary engagement in Thuringia, it provides advice and support to cultural initiatives.
