Services for Visitors with Mobility Impairments

Wheelchair users and visitors with other mobility impairments can borrow our “Accessibility Companion” free of charge at the ticket office. In addition, some of our buildings are accessible via ramps or side entrances on the ground floor.

Services for Visitors with Learning Difficulties

Visitors who require easy-to-read language can borrow our audio guide for €2.00. It includes a specially designed and easily understandable children’s tour.
We are also happy to offer shortened, easy-to-understand guided tours for groups upon request.

Services for Blind and Visually Impaired Visitors

Blind and visually impaired visitors will find various exhibits that can be touched. In addition, tactile stations have been introduced throughout the museum.

Services for Visitors with Hearing Impairments and Deaf Visitors

Visitors with hearing impairments can notify the ticket office before their tour so that our guides can use the tour guide system. This system digitizes sound and transmits it directly to the visitors’ headphones.
